We invite you to comment on the draft wastewater permit for the city of Redwood Falls wastewater treatment plant.
The city of Redwood Falls owns and operates a wastewater treatment facility. The existing Redwood Falls Wastewater Treatment Facility is a Class C facility designed to treat an average wet weather design flow of 1.321 million gallons a day with a five-day carbonaceous biochemical oxygen demand strength of 171 milligrams per liter. The facility has a continuous discharge to the Minnesota River.
Water quality permits establish specific limits and requirements to protect Minnesota's surface and groundwater quality. Permits are regularly reviewed and updated as they expire, allowing the MPCA to incorporate new information about the impacts of pollutants on the environment in future permits. Permits are enforced through a combination of self-reporting and compliance monitoring.
All fields are optional unless otherwise indicated.
